  We offer ASTM A135/A795 SCH 7,10,40 UL&cUL listed external galvanized/internal black hot-rolled steel fire sprinkler pipes in various sizes, including 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3" and 4". 

FM Approvals status:

  Our steel sprinkler pipe is UL & cUL listed (UL 852) and features an externally galvanized surface with a clean, non-galvanized interior. This specific inside/outside surface configuration is not currently covered/eligible under the FM Approvals certification program for steel sprinkler pipe—this is a scope limitation, not the result of a failed test. Therefore, it should not be specified where “FM Approved” products are mandatory. For AHJ-reviewed (non-FM-mandatory) projects, we provide a complete acceptance package—including UL & cUL listing, O₂ ≤ 2% inerting logs (WPNI by Tyco, ECS, Potter, or equivalent; equipment/listing requirements per project specification), NFPA 13 air-venting, and a Clean-Pipe Evidence Pack—so reviewers can make an informed decision based on documented outcomes.

  As a reference, FM Global DS 2-1 cautions against internally galvanized steel pipe in wet-pipe sprinkler systems; our interior is non-galvanized.
